Hard water to soft water
I just have a question about water softness and hardness. Right now we have a water softner for our water, so the water is well, soft. I've read numerous times that a water softner isn't great for fish, so the situation I'm in might be a plus. I'm moving in three weeks (moving the tank will be fun

danios will have no problems with hard water. even REALLY hard water like cichlids would want.
However, I would save as much of the current water as you can, so that you can do several small water changes to transition the fish to the harder water.
