I have the threadfins in a 10 gallon tank 4 females and 2 males. I have 4 floating mops 2 in for a week then I swap out with the other 2. When I check the mops they usually have 5 to 25 eggs in one of them the other will usually be empty or only have a few eggs. I have tried to get the eggs to hatch but no luck.
I've filled the tank with a load of plants no hatch.
I've moved the mops to another tank raised the temp added M. Blue no hatch. What will happen is ; I see the eggs, the eggs will eye, and then they just disappear, no fungus eggs, no fry, no nothing they just disappear I have 2 very small sponge filters in the tank with a weak air stream just enough to keep a little water movement.
I understand the fry are very small so I use a jewelry loop. Mag.glass and a head magnifier. This is how I get to see the eyes in the eggs. But I can't see any fry.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried leaving the eggs in the spawning tank and removing the adults?
