Hey. I have one red tail shark and im having trouble feeding him. When i add the flakes or other food all the other fish swim up and eat everyyhing and he stays in the middle part of the tank without receiving enything. I tried pills that sink to the bottom but they dont work. In the aquarium i have the red tail shark with neón tetras, red eye tetras, a pearl gurami and a pleco.
Please help

one thing you can do is try feeding at night. another thing you can try is using a length of thin maybe 1 inch pvc pipe. extend it into the water to the depth where the red tailed shark is hanging out...then drop the food into it at the top. it will sink through the length of the pipe and come out at the correct depth. may want to use something that will sink faster than flake. good luck

In the 2 times I've owned a RTS neither really liked flakes or pellet food.

Try foods like frozen bloodworms.
