hawaiin umbrella bonsai

well i have a plant that is a bonsai as said and i have some trimmings from it that i have now in a pot of just water and rock, would i be able to try this is in my tank, im not worried about the plant dieing just the fish and tank in general

Are we talking about Schefflera? The house plant?

I don't think it would be harmful but it would not survive submerged for all that long.

If it dies and breaks down it will mess with your water chemistry.

well since no1 really have experience with it ill submerge it in water for a week or 2 and see how it does

if it is a true bonsai tree, they don't live in water and willdie.
