I have 2-300 watt 45-64 gallon heaters in my 60 gallon tank. I have been seeing pictures of people having there heaters on the ends (sides) of there tank. I have mine on the back.

Is there a place in the aquarium that is better to have the heaters?

My tank seems to stays at 70-75 degrees. So not worried about that just wondering of there is a better place then another ?

Wherever the water flow is greatest is the best spot for a heater. The water flow helps spread the freshly heated water around for a more even temperature. Otherwise you end up with hot and cold spots.

Thanks. Great to know.

Both of my heaters are by the outputs of both of my filters.
