heater? warm to the touch
ok, so i am getting close to stocking my aquarium, co2 equipment should arrive early this week. So in preparation i put my heater in the tank. It has been about 24 hours and I am around 80 degrees. Touched the heater and it did not feel warm at all, Should it me warm when i touch it. Unfortunatly i do not know the wattage, it was a handme down from a friend.
Thanks |

It should feel warm to the touch when it operates. But if it's off or just coming on chances are it's going to be the same as the water temp.

yeah, it's only warm to the touch when it's been on a little while.
I'd turn it down to 78 tho.
