Help!

Hi, me and my brother are having an arguement about when to feed the fish. Are you suppose to feed the fish in the morning or at night. Or do you feed them at morning and night.

It's really personal preference, IMO. My light doesn't come on until 10am - and I am at work then - so I feed them when I come home, or a little later in the evening.

I usually feed mine in the morning before I leave for work and again at night.

if you have fish that are more active at night, it is better to drop the food in a few minutes before lights out... my otos and cory cats always eat at night, but everyone else is fed in the morning

I dont think it really matters when you feed them, as long as every fish gets some food.

If you have nocturnal feeders drop their food in the evening whereas for daytime dudes its the morning. Or, like oscarbreeder suggest, both! HTH

As long as they are not over fed it doesnt matter when for all but the night feeders. Sometimes on my days off I will feed them several times in smaller amounts. Normally it is twice a day.
My fish all come the front of the tank when I walk up to it expecting a bit to eat.

I feed them when I get up, but like rubysoho said feed when they are most active.
