Help Cloudy Aquarium

2 days ago all was seemingly well in the aquarium, and we introduced 3 new little angel fish to our community. The following morning the tank was extremely cloudy. We ended up doing 2 50% water changes and it still hasn't cleared up. Everyone seems to be eating and swimming AOK. I just tested it again (relatively new tank - 1 month in operation) here are my levels: [acronym:6210bfda6b="power head or Measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions, depending on context"]ph[/acronym:6210bfda6b]=7.6, [acronym:6210bfda6b="power head or Measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions, depending on context"]ph[/acronym:6210bfda6b]-hr=7.8, ammonia=4.0+, nitrate 0.[acronym:6210bfda6b="Parts per Million"]ppm[/acronym:6210bfda6b] and water is hard at 7+. COuld it be the new angel's. It almost seems like there's a film in the water. PLEASE HELP, before anything starts going awry! We have racked our brains trying to figure out what is causing this!

how did you cycle your tank? Were there any other fish in the tank before he anglefish? It sounds like what you have is bacteria bloom, which is sometimes called new tank syndrome. It sounds like your tank is not done cycling yet.

I wouldn't worry. Keep up with water changes. Maybe 10-30% every few days until the tank clears up.

Aquariums are like jello - there's always room for more.
