help i left my carbon in while mediating my tank

ok i forgot to take my brand new carbon out of my tank before i hurridly medicated it with some mardel coppersafe because i noticed that one of my new cichlids had a parasite on it.

55 gallon long 14 cichlids 1 pleco

i think i should redo the medication with the filters out but

i dont want to use too much and kill all fish

not use enough or none at all and all fish die due to ich

Do a 50% water change and you should be fine to follow the directions for dosage.
Just replace the carbon with regular filter material.

i would do a large water change take the carbon out. if it is ich i would treat with the salt and heat method but thats just me.
