help identify

can anyone identify these snails?
I had a boom of them, bought some bottom cleaners and fed less food and they went away
anyways does anyone know these guys/gals names?

I think they're called mystery snails. My friend's pond is full of them and they multiply very fast.

They are common pond snails...they eat plants and just about everything else....multiply like crazy, clog filters, etc.....really serious pests in the aquarium.

if you still have a problem with them get a puffer, they'll clean 'em' right up for ya

In the larger photo I think the one on the right is named "Ginger" Seriously, if you have a problem with snails the best solution, other than killing them yourself, is to get some loaches. Most loaches love snails. I have 2 or 3 dwarf loaches in a couple of my 10g tanks to keep the snail population down.
