can anyone identify these snails?
I had a boom of them, bought some bottom cleaners and fed less food and they went away
anyways does anyone know these guys/gals names?

They are common pond snails...they eat plants and just about everything else....multiply like crazy, clog filters, etc.....really serious pests in the aquarium.
 
In the larger photo I think the one on the right is named "Ginger" :D Seriously, if you have a problem with snails the best solution, other than killing them yourself, is to get some loaches. Most loaches love snails. I have 2 or 3 dwarf loaches in a couple of my 10g tanks to keep the snail population down.
