Help identifying this fish

Hello fish keepers

I joined today to your site today and i wish to become an active member of this community

My friend brought a fish from the river and he gave it to me to put it with my community tank i know its wrong to do but the guy would die if i didnt take him so can anyone helps me identify this fish

Hard to tell from the the picture, but it looks like some sort of goby or darter. Do you have a picture from the side?

i searched on internet and i think he is round goby i found pics of gobies that have the same spot above is one thanks guy for the help final question how this types of fish gose along with the others

I was thinking either that (Round) or a European Black Goby. It also resembles a Bucchich Goby but i think those are primarily marine species.

They found him in a fresh water river in france

Yep i read about him he is nasty dude but this one still small to do something. Ill fetch him out and go to put him back in the river. My problem is my tank have think plant and he hide there it will be hard to catch him
