HI, I have a chance to enter 1 picture of my Aquarium in a local contest in Reno, Nevada. It is an overall aquascaping contest to choose the best looking aquascaped freshwater aquarium. I am going to post 5pictures and the first three pictures show my drift wood displayed one way AND the other 2 pictures show a completly different piece of driftwood. I want to ask all of my fellow aquarists to help me choose the picture i should enter into the contest. thank you all for your help !
Bert

I would also select from one of the last 2 pics. The driftwood in those pictures elogates the tank and makes it look much larger than in the previoius pics with the more vertical driftwood piece.

I'm torn between the second to last and the last pic. I prefer the 2nd to last overall, but the last is better centered. Either way, nice lookin tank!

How funny, I liked the second picture - love that holey driftwood! But I can see where it might chop the tank in half, whereas the longer piece looks more natural...

Ehn, I'm new, what do I know? :) These guys have seen a LOT more tanks than I! :)

Thanks everyone :D I was stuck between the two types of driftwood. the one with the holes is unique, while the lower, longer driftwood elongates the tank, thanks for all of your input, i will post the contest results win or lose 8O :D

am going to take new pictures with a better camera setting that will fix any blurring and turn off the powerhead and filter, and then feed them bloodworms dropped into one spot. I fed them like that tonight and all the fish gathered together and stayed still to feed. The above pictures i wasn't going to put them into the contest, but rather, take new ones. I was trying to figure out which driftwood arrangement looked best. I like them both,so if the picture is taken again, which driftwood setup looks the best the flat one, or the taller one with the holes in it ? thanks everyone:dive: the second :D picture shows the driftwood with the holes in it up close.

I'd stick with one of the last two pics in your first post. The last one has better exposure; the second to last has better color.

I took the favorite, and made some adjustments to it. I hope you don't mind.

Thanks ! the tank looks a little different now, with a cahnge in most of the fish, new aquascaping, and added live plants.
