They started in a 29g, got moved to a 55g and are now in a 115g. As they grew, they got a tank upgrade.

Perhaps that is the trick itself? Starting them small, together? Who knows. All I can tell you is that I'm not the only person on the planet who can keep these varieties of fish together without issues.

Both of my LFS have angels, discus, rams and neons together. *Shrugs*

The waiting room at one of my doctor's offices has gold rams, angles and neons.
It does work sometimes, but not usually. No, you are not the only person on the planet who has success, but I do not advise it for other people to do since it frequently doesn't work. There is a chance if you start them all together small, but I have seen that backfire more often then not. Fish are individuals and do not always do what we think they should though. :)

So that's what I do in my spare time! Choose a group (red is incompatible) or if you want to add anything. Btw these are just my favorites so far I think but I will take any suggestions :)

I notice that it says the serpae tetras and the rams are incompatible.
I have 2 GBR's and 7 serpaes and they get along great!
Just depends on the fish I suppose.
