I have a 55 gallon tank and I started with 10 mts to keep my sand sifted but now there r to many of them. Any suggestions? I saw something about assassin snails?

Well assassins will eventually eat all of them and also multiply in the process. But if you don't mind another snail population that needs to be sustained with meat later on then they are good.

Do they multiply as fast as the MTS? and other ideas on gettin rid of them?

You could always sell them. I'm sure there would be a lot of people who would buy if you shipped them

No assassins are much easier to manage population wise, but after all the mts are gone there are no more snails to eat so thats the larger issue. Many people also leave a piece of blanched lettuce in there tank overnight and by morning lots are on there eating it so then you can just take out those snails with the leaf. I would use this method
