Thank you I was thinking that but was told today by lfs that all they usually sold was males and it got me wondering

The LFS was probably talking about their Dwarf Gourami. Its very unusual to see female Dwarf Gourami for sale because they're not as colorful as the males. The three spot morphs don't have as drastic color differences, so its pretty common to see females of those. I agree, the bottom two pictures are definitely female. The golden is harder to tell on from those pics, but I'd guess female as well.
