My red devil is scaring all my plecos and they won't eat off the glass. How could I remedy that situation? Should I just get a 12" plecos to go along with my 12" red devil? Had no issues before when the tank was filled with my group of ruby reds and some 4-5" bristle nose plecos.

I would repost this in the general discussion section, it will allow more people to see it.

Plecos don't solve algae issues... How big is the tank? Is it just the red devil and plecos? I probably wouldn't even put anything with a 12" red devil, they're so mean

Algae is caused by too much light
Too much food
Or too high nitrates

Timer...lights on for only 6 hours for now
Watch how much you feed
Gravel vac and excellent water parameters will help.

No Plecos in with your fish. They are poop machines and will still probably get killed.
