I know hex tanks aren't good for a lot of fish but a 42 gal hex tank, would it be good for 2 fancy goldfish? The goldfish are quite large, about 5". I'm not sure if they would move around the height of the tank.

Do you know the dimensions of the tank? How wide and tall it is?

Unfortunately the person didn't give me the dimensions, I asked for them and emailed back again asking for them but I do have a pic.

Based on the calculator on this site and some educated guesses, I'm guessing 24" tall, 48 " diameter.

Is that a corner tank? Looks nice. 48 inches (4 ft) is a nice size. IMHO, goldfish would be fine in that.

Thanks, I didn't know if goldfish would utilize the space. She needs a new tank for the beauties, they are cramped and stressed in a 15 gal right now.
