My ammonia levels are high, I'm still in the process of cycling my tank using a bottle of bacteria. I feed them once a day. Any suggestions? I was thinking about investing in a powerhead, to move water around, creating more oxygen in it. Thoughts?

How long has the tank been set up? Are you doing frequent water changes to keep your levels down? What's your tank size and stocking?

The bacteria in a bottle is, generally speaking, snake oil. Most of the products aren't particularly helpful, although there are some people that have claimed to have some degree of success with certain brands. All you can really do now is wait for the bacteria to catch up. You can feed less, down to once every 2-3 days if you would like. As far as the power head goes, assuming you're getting decent aeration with your filter, you shouldn't need additional water movement.
