High PH

Need help lowering ph levels. Have tried the chemicals and they don't seem to help. Have sand in the tank. Nitrites and nitrates are in line.
 
"pH Down" stuff and the like is useless. Waste of money that your lfs got you to spend. Unless it's like, 9 or 10, don't worry about it. Most freshwater fish accept a wide range of pH as long as it's stable.
 
No driftwood. High is 7.6. It is stable. Tanked is stocked with gourami , albino Cory, mollies, penguin tetra. 15 fish in total. 36 gallon tank. No plants only fake coral arrangements. Tank is 2 months old.

That ph is just fine mine is 8.5 and I keep and breed the sensitive GBRs
 
Great. I thought high ph stresses fish which could lead to death. Didn't know they could tolerate more or adjust.
