Hillstream Loach ?

I got a hillstream loach three days ago, I put it into the tank, saw it swim to the glass, and thought everything was fine. Since them I have not seen it one time. I'm starting to assume its dead, but where did it go?!? It was about 2" long, so too big for the filter, and I have all small community fish, so I doubt it got eaten.

I have one in my daughters tank and it stays under the driftwood. I'd check/move around whatever ornaments you may have before giving up on it. I hope he turns up.

Your lucky. What temp do you keep your tank? Mine is at 79 deg and I heard they like water colder than that, so I thought that might have been what killed him (if he's even dead). Whiteclouds are supposed to be the same way though and they do fine in my tank, so who knows.

I keep my tank around 76. I have a bubble wall going up one side of the glass and that is the wall mine always hangs on.
