Hood fell in water what should I do

I was moving the hood and it slipped and fell halfway in the tank and one of the lights went under. The lights were off and what should I do.

Unplug it - but I assume you did that. Leave it to dry out for a couple days. You could possibly towel off all visible moisture and stick it in uncooked regular rice for a couple days (worked with cell phone). It may be okay since it was off.

I would put it outside in the sun for a few days to dry it out.
