How bad is sand at showing waste particles

it will be a 75 gallon oscar tank with a rhino pleco with black sand will it show the waste really bad bad or should the large filters it ill have 2 emperor 400s pull most of the waste off the sand.

Emperor HOBs are not going to pull waste off of sand. A gravel vac waved gently over it during partial water changes will keep it clean though.

Black sand should not show near as bad as white would.

Having white sand myself I can tell you that it will show every possible bit of waste but in my opinion it makes keeping the tank clean a whole lot easier.

I think with black sands, with inexperienced aquarists, that cleaning goes to the back of the mind. Out of sight out of mind as they say.

Okay thanks i am not an inexpeirenced aquarist though if you are referring to me as one i have been in the hobby for 10 years just a inexpeireienced sand keeper.

Certainly wasn't my friend. I think that some who are new to the hobby just forget these things.
