How do I clean this part of my filter

Please help me!! My betta needs his filter quick!!

Pull it apart and rinse. A small toothbrush can help. Each section should pull off. If it has a curved part you can pour some coarse salt into it, add some water, use your finders to close off each side of the pipe and shake. Rinse well after that. Using a prefilter, sponge with a hole down the middle, to cover the intake helps keep a lot of stuff from clogging the intake pipe.
