How do you get rid of snails

My clown loach got rid of 1000's of tiny snails. They it killed my assassin snail. I've never seen it be aggressive towards any of my fish.

Clown loaches are not a good choice... They get huge and need huge tanks. Just try the lettuce trick. Stick in a piece of lettuce, wait a while for all the snails to flock to it, then pull it out with all the snails on it. But the best way is to starve them. If there's nothing for them to eat, then they can't survive.
