I had 3 beautiful and fun to watch ramshorns, but two of them have died within the last 2 weeks, but my water parameters are perfect, so I guess its old age, how lonbg does a ramshorn usually live?

I'm not sure exactly but JChillin sent me a few quite a while ago and they are all three still living. It's been at least 6 or 7 months since he sent them.

it realy depends on the species and the age it was when you got it...

i had a Marisa cornuarietis that was 3/4 inch in diameter when i got it, i had it almost 2 years before it died over the summer at ~1.5" diameter...

Warmer water leads them to mature (age) faster and lead shorter lives, so in a tropical tank you can generally expect 2 - 3 years
www.applesnail.net is an excellent resource for info on snails.
