how long does bio spira last? - Aquarium Advice

so I've been thinking. with bio spira being as good as it is, of keeping some on hand. How long can it be kept, given that it is properly stored? I have the means to store it, and all that, but dont want too stock it if it wont last long...

I don't think it has a long shelf life, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. Bio spira contains all the good bacteria and if not put in a tank with fish producing waste, the bacteria can't eat to survive.

I think it should be good for a few months unopened in the fridge, maybe less if it's opened.

If I remember correctly, an unopened, refrigerated pack has a shelf life of six months.
