How long should a tank be up and running to make sure there is enough algae before adding cherry shrimp?

I couple of months should be ok. As long as its cycled and stable. You can supplement algae wafers if theres not enough.

Thanks Mumma! Its only been cycled since the 2nd of this month. So far my water is consistant at ammo 0, trites 0, trates 10pph and Ph 7.6. No issues so far.... I'll wait a bit longer to be sure
