How many wafers/day to feed my pleco?

My pleco is about a foot long and the tank is relatively free of algae.

How many wafers/day should I feed him??

IMO, put a couple of wafers in at night, and then when the tank accumulates more algae, you can reduce the wafers to one a night or one every other night.

Yeah I'd add a couple of wafers as well. Keep in mind herbivorous plecs don't have a stomach, just a really long intestine. They need LOTS of food to get enough nutrients (and poo accordingly LOL).
