I have pool filter sand in my 20g and I feel like it needs a bit more sand. Atleast about a cup or two.

What is the best way to add more sand without making my water cloudy and harming my RCS?

Put it in a ziploc bag after you rinse it. With the top open to let air out, send that bag to the bottom and dump it where you want it, slowly pouring it out.

It will probably still cloud a bit, but not as bad as just pouring it in from the top.

You can do the same with a cup, but you have to go pretty slow.

Oh that's a good idea! Maybe I can do it while I do a waterchange? Or before I do a waterchange?

You can also try the bottle approach. I saw someone use a coke bottle half way sand put water in it the empty it into the tank I would drop the sand but not the dust. You can maybe find it in YouTube.

I've fill a net with sand and put to the botton and turned it over a little leaks out but it works ok but the plastic bag sounds like a great idea
