I have a 15 gallon tank that have not been used for a very long time.

There are some much dirt and white stuffs on the tank now.

How do I clean and what product do I use to clean it???

thanks

You can use just plain water, and you can use diluted bleach if you rinse it well enough afterwards.

yup, worked for me... rinse rinse rinse! and let it run a few days afterwards but dont forget the dechlorinator, overdose on it, then add the decorations and let it run again adding the dechlorinator. That's what I did and it worked

Well fortunately a 15 gal is small enough to clean in a tub. Sooooooo cold in NY now.

Here's how I clean tanks. Make a warm water solution (about 2 inches), using lots of non iodized salt in the tank. Get a good size algae pad and scrub. Vinegar works well on removing mineral deposits. Rinse the tank thoroughly and it's ready to go.
