How to get rid of brown spot algae

I leave 2 t8 lights on my 55 for about 10 hours a day. I only have 2 live plants. I just noticed a lot of brown spot algae all over the rocks substrate. What can I do about this? I have cory cats, blood parrot cichlids, and odessa barbs in the tank.

Is the tank newly set up? Do you have a picture you can post? It could be diatoms if the tank is new. When having algae issues you should only run your lights 6 daily. Once the algae is under control you can slowly increase your photoperiod up to 8 hours daily max.
