Ok so I've noticed that we have a few old hurricane lamps laying around and I've seen that people use these as "ghost houses" specifically for black ghost knife fish. I have a BGKF and I never see him so I was thinkin this would a cool little addition. So to my question, the lamp has been lit on multiple occasions and I was just wondering if it's still safe to use. If so how do I properly clean it so it won't present a threat to my fish. I was thinking about washing it out then boiling it, will that work?
