I am prepared to house them how they need to be (larger tank or a pond). I would love to see them grow to their full potential, I am like that with all of my fish. Thank you everyone for your advice in what I need to do to keep these fish happy and healthy. All of your words have bee ntaken in and considered for in the future. They will move into a larger home, eventually, just right now, I cannot spend the money. They are happier where they are now than where they were a few days ago, and when they start to outgrown their current home, I will defintly start looking into other options for them.
Yes the fish are commons, but nevertheless, they deserve a bigger home as they grow.
Oh, and on the python note: wow, that is alot. They are $32 at walmart. I hadn't priced them at petsmart yet. Now that I know that, i will but it from walmart and save more than $15
