I just bought 2 golden rams today! (LOTS OF PICS)

Well, I was looking for another type of fish to breed (I have fancy guppies now) and decided on these beauties....

The fish guy says that its 1 male and 1 female... after reading up on them ... they are the same as the BLUE rams.. but the gold morph.. Only problem is.. It's HARD to sex them.. or is it?

Here are the rams.. Please help me sex them..

My guess is that RAM #1 is a male.. notice the high dorsal fin at the end.. and the pointed tail and anal fins.. BUT the 1ist and 2nd ray of the dorsal fin is not big........

My guess is that RAM #2 is a female.. notice the smaller dorsal fin, and round tail fin.. BUT the 1st and 2nd ray of the dorsal fin is bigger... Whats going on here?!?!

Can anyone help me sex them?

Does one look like it's belly could be pinkish? One of the pics shows one looking a little pinkish (pic 1108, the furthest one back, as well as the pic before it looks kind of pinkish on that one), but could also be the camera. If it is, could be female. But they still look pretty young, so might be hard to tell until they get settled into your tank.

I don't know now.. b/c after reading up on them, it seems like they could be anything!!! ahhhhhhhhh.. its driving me nuts.!! oh quick question.. Would these golden rams breed to blue rams or Balloon Rams?
