I need Boesemani rainbow fish help please

I was thinking about getting some boesemani rainbow fish for my 55 gal but I wasn't sure how many I should get. I've been trying to research online but i'm just reading suggestions of anywhere from 3 to 7. Also does anyone know the best female to male ratio? If it helps, I already have a few semi aggressive fish - 9 tiger barbs, 2 kribensis, and 1 rainbow shark. Thanks!

I wouldn't add boesmani rainbows. They are fairly active and would do better in a bigger tank. Rainbow sharks are also territorial do I hope you have a cave or hideout. Also, is it a male and female krib.

Yes I have a few caves for the kribensis and rainbow shark. I have 1 male and i female krib

Boesmani need to be in groups of at least 3 or more. I have 5 in my 55.
Try to keep a 1:2 ratio for best coloring. The males will not color as well with no females in the tank.

The kribs will probably breed and the parents will behav aggressively to their tankmates
