I laughed out loud when I read that! I'm such a city girl that it didn't even occur to me that one could get their 'river rocks' from said 'river' . I'll have to start looking around if this warm weather keeps up.
My husband likes to camp and flyfish. I needed something to keep me busy :D

I kept my brichardi's in a tank mixed with tanganyikan and malawian cichlids. The chardi's were smaller than most of the other fish in the tank and yet they had no trouble protecting their fry. If one of the larger fish would come to close, one of the chardi's would attack it from behind. As soon as he turned around another would attack it from behind. Until he had no choice but to leave the area. They were lots of fun. :multi:
I no longer like to mix tanganyikan and malawian cichlids so I stuck with malawian (I love C. Moorii's). Otherwise I would still have chardi's. :pimp:
They are a lot of fun. And like most africans they are very hearty. :hat:
