Ideas for a centre piece fish or pair of fish

Hi all.

I'm looking for ideas for a centre piece fish or pair of fish. Something that will stand out and quiet colourfull

My current set up is a 48 inch by 12 inch by 18 inch tank.
It has been running for approx 3 months (after cycling)with the following stock

1 bn Pleco
5 cory cats ( mixed 2 peppered 2 bronze and 1 albino )
3 mollies
5 buenos aires tetras
12 neon tetras

I have a few real plants in the tank but the majority are plastics.

I have 2 pieces of driftwood and a few hiding spaces

I have hard water and my ph is 8
Ammonia 0 nitrites 0 and nitrates 20

Any suggestions appreciated or any criticisms of my stocking also appreciated.

Pearl or moonlight gouramis would be nice.

I'd say they are compatible. I've had more aggressive gouramis with neons do great.

Pearls are beautiful. I have neons with mine and it's been fine. I only have one though. Gouramis can be aggressive if you have 2 males.
