My tank has been set up since 7/24/14. So 22 days. It is in front of a window because of space issues in my home. But the blinds are always closed. I'm using a current freshwater led+ for lighting. It's on from 8am to 8pm. Lunar settings for last few hours. Can someone who knows more about this please identify the rust like algae in these pictures?

Looks like diatoms to me. Normal for a newly established tank. Generally they will run their course in a matter of weeks or a couple of months. Reducing your photoperiod to around 8 hrs may help, but probably not much.

A toothbrush to scrub them off and water changes seems to be the best way in my experience to help them along.
