Identify female betta is ready to breed

I am actually planning to breed my bettas and bought a female delta from store, but I'm not sure about the age of this one. Her egg spot is visible for me but she seems like too small compare with other bettas

Visible egg spot is the sign of she ready to breed or carrying eggs?

No she'll get breeding stripes when she's ready to mate. The egg spot is just how you identify it as a female.
Either that or all my female bettas I've had have wanted to drop eggs all the time.
