Identify Fish...

Can anyone tell me what these are? They belong to my Brother-in-Law but he did not buy them. I'm pretty sure the one picture is Black Widow Tetras and Buenos Aires Tetras but the gold one and the small ones I'm not sure about.

The 1st one could be a Lemon Tetra...

The 2nd one looks like it coud be a Glowlight or Ember Tetra....hard to tell though.

Hard to tell from those pics and a lot of the tetras do look similar. It's almost as hard as trying to ID plants.

The first is almost a definite on a black skirt. Not sure on the others.

The 3rd is a gold barb (Puntius sachsii).

1st definitley looks like a black skirt (no clue about the yellow ones behind it)
3rd definltey looks like a gold barb.

2nd is very hard to tell though. I have no clue.

2nd I'm quite sure is a silvertip tetra. The ones in the background of the 1st pic are buenos aires tetras.

Thats it, you cant see it in the pic but it does have silver tips like that.

I'm pretty sure that the first pic is Buenos Aries and Black Widow Tetras.

So now I'm not sure about the gold one though. It could be a barb.

The gold one definitley looks like a barb. Female maybe, with less of the black coloring.
