So I have been told never to have direct sunlight on fish tanks for algae and temperature purposes.

And I try my best to avoid direct sunlight, but I think I may be facing with some "indirect sunlight". Basically, the light goes through my window and reflects off the floor and onto my tank.

Now, would this indirect sunlight be a cause to my minor algae issue in my tank?

I have a 55g fish + plants tank. My lights are on at most 8 hours a day averaging 4-5 hours.
