Is 29 gallons too small for 2 parrot cichlids?

I love them. They're so **** cute. I plan on it to be a planted tank with lots of hiding places for them because I know they're territorial. BUT is it too small?

Yes much too small, they can get to 8" and 55G minimum tank is recommended.
