Is $9.99 too much for threadfin rainbows?

I've been wanting them forever and saw them in a local shop tonight but I was hesitant...seemed like a little much for them..??

i wanted to have some rainbows in my tank but due that i heard that those fish are really delicate and really expensive i rather restart the community tank and when i get all the things stable i want to get a few of those or a pair of g blue rams which are as expensive as rainbows around here
