Is this par for the course, or do I just suck at aquarium keeping?

I have to gates with raising the temp and up feeding. Like someone else mentioned- where did you get them? Local fish places will be a lot better than petsmart/petco.


And don't be too hard on yourself. I think everyone hits rough spots here and there in their fish keeping life!

I bought them from a local fish place - two of them near me. Both seem pretty reputable, as far as I can tell.

I'm feeling a lot more hopeful. Did a bit of re-arranging of plants and sprucing up the tank, and it's looking really nice at the moment. Got some moss growing on the driftwood now
