Is this tank size suitable for a single Oscar?

Can I ask, if I was to put flowerhorn, could I have a catfish in there too?

I wouldn't mind a catfish in there also, but not sure which fish would be ok with it.

I wouldn't put anything with a flowerhorn but another flowerhorn. They are one of the meanest fish there are and the tank is just too small for 2 large fish.

Yep. Unless you go with something smaller. I have a thread going now in stocking a 40b if you want to look at some smaller pairs. It's in the cichlid section

Peacock cichlid would look good and wouldn't be pushing the limits of your tank size. It's a Malawi, but you would also have room for other fish as well.
