I see it on mobile app and no it doesn't look too heavily planted, dense vegetation mixed with open swimming area, looks good

Neon Tetras would look awesome in there with the black substrate and plenty of greenery.

I think I might add some Cory’s and Molly’s to. But do you think a dwarf gourami could go well in there
