Is this the same plant?

Hi, I recently bought two different plants. But when I google the name "Water Spangles" both plants pop up. I was wondering if they could be the same plant just at different ages.

They both look like water spangles(salvinia minima) to me. What did the seller say the second was supposed to be?

The guy at the aquarium store didn't know the names.
