Is this too hard to do?

http://www.aquariumadvice.com/photop...cat=543&page=1

Came accross that tank and really liked it. Ex the plant cover on the bottom of the tank.

Would a tank like this be hard to do?

I don't think it would be too hard to do, as long as you have CO2 injection(only if you have 2 wpg and up),add ferts, have a good substrate, good lighting, and good water quality the tank should turn out great.

Agreed...if you do your reseaerch first, make sure you have everything you need, take it slow, and have patience and diligence, it is not that difficult at all....but remember, this is a planted tank Amano-style, so you would have perhaps a small school of tetras/guppies/rasboras at most as far as fish are concerned.

Agreed...takes a lot of patience and dedication to duplicate a tank like that one. If you can, kaaikop posted a thread about the tank from beginning to end. It may help guide you if you're interested.

Amano, the great Takashi Amano, I say he makes the best aquarium set-ups in the world. If you wanna check out his designs check out his book:"The Natural World Aquarium".
