Jeff the armoured shrimp

After a long wait (it felt like months but was only a week) Jeff my armoured shrimp has arrived in my tank

That's a nice looking Vampire shrimp ... great blueish gray color ... how large is it?

He's about three inch at the moment

Is he a filter feeder.

Yeah he's taken up residence under the suction strainer for the external filter

Vampire shrimp are just cool looking ... look more like a dwarf crayfish than a shrimp.
