This morning I saw my Bnp, about 3 inches, sucking on the side of one of my julii cory cats. Later today, it was at the bottom of the tank, dead. It was recently purchased, and looked quite underfed from what I could tell. My pleco wasn't aggressive with anyone else in the tank. No other deaths. Any ideas why this is? Could it just have been a "runt" of the cories?

Depending on the size of your tank a territorial dispute would be a possibility but the most likely scenario is your cory has sadly died and become a meal afterwards.

If your pleco did actually kill it instead of just eating a dead body it won't stop attacking your other fish now that he's had a taste, I would carefully watch his behavior.
